🎯 Objective:

To develop vocabulary and become proficient with the calendar, it is essential to learn the fundamental time concepts of numbers, days of the week, and months of the year.

📘 Lesson:

Numbers
Numbers are divided into Cardinal (counting things) and Ordinal (position/dates) forms.
  • 1 to 10: One (1st), Two (2nd), Three (3rd), Four (4th), Five (5th), Six (6th), Seven (7th), Eight (8th), Nine (9th), Ten (10th).
  • 11 to 20: Eleven (11th), Twelve (12th), Thirteen (13th), Fourteen (14th), Fifteen (15th), Sixteen (16th), Seventeen (17th), Eighteen (18th), Nineteen (19th), Twenty (20th).
  • Tens: Twenty-one (21st), Thirty (30th), Forty (40th), Fifty (50th), Sixty (60th), Seventy (70th), Eighty (80th), Ninety (90th), One Hundred (100th).
Days of the Week
There are seven days in a standard week, commonly starting on Sunday or Monday.

To remember how many days are in each month, you can use a classic knuckle-counting trick:
