What is a tongue-twister?

Answer: A word, phrase, or sentence that is very difficult to read fast and correctly is called a tongue-twister.  In order to improve your pronunciation, you need to twist your tongue by reading these tongue-twisters many times as fast as possible.

Without a doubt, tongue-twisters are a great way to test your near and dear one's phonetic awareness. Today, should we practice and enjoy some tongue-twisters?

1. Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers. Where’s the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?

Note:- The P sound along with different vowel sounds.

2. She sells seashells on the seashore.

Note: Mastery over s and sh sounds.

3. I wish to wish the wish you wish to wish, but if you wish the wish the witch wishes, I won't wish the wish you wish to wish.

Note: Here, Wish is used 12 times.

4. A butler bought some butter, but the butter was so bitter, so the butler bought some better butter to make the bitter butter better butter. (The last letter "r" is silent in butler, butter, better and bitter.)

Note: Pronunciation training on the "b" and "t" sounds.

5. First, it's a must for a host just to provide the best nest to the guest for rest.

 Note: To pay attention to the difference between the f and p sounds.
